We feature the highest quality equipment, low prices, and a staff that will take the time to fit your boots and make sure you are on the best equipment for your ability level. Most of The Ski Shop's equipment is less than a year or two old and we tune/wax our skis and snowboards frequently so that you get consistent quality and performance. This year The Ski Shop has expanded our High Performance rental ski fleet! The Ski Shop is offering over 30 pair of men's and women's high performance skis from K2, Salomon, Volkl, Rossignol, and Armada. We have performance models for beginners all the way up to expert level skiiers. Plus we "Demo" just about every current year model ski that we sell (once ski conditions are favorable). The Ski Shop will also apply up to $80.00 of your demo ski rentals towards the purchase of any new model ski w/binding. Snowboarders, The Ski Shop has the new Burton "Custom" and "Hero" snowboards available to Demo once the season starts. The Ski Shop will also apply up to $50.00 of your demo board rental towards the purchase of any current year model snowboard with binding. YOU ARE NOT CHARGED FOR THE DAY YOU PICK UP THE EQUIPMENT (AFTER 2PM) NOR THE DAY YOU RETURN THE EQUIPMENT (BEFORE 1PM):
For example; you want to ski/ride on Saturday....You come by The Ski Shop Friday after 2pm and pick the equipment up, ski/snowboard on Saturday, and then return the equipment Sunday before 1pm. DURING PEAK RENTAL TIMES (HOLIDAYS, WEEKENDS, SPRING BREAK). PLEASE COME IN A FEW DAYS EARLY (BEFORE YOUR SKI TRIP), GET FIT, AND MAKE A RESERVATION. EQUIPMENT TENDS TO RUN LOW DURING THESE BUSY TIMES AND WE WANT TO MAKE SURE WE HAVE YOUR EQUIPMENT IN STOCK, RESERVED, AND READY TO GO!
The Ski Shop's Reservation System
The Ski Shop's reservation system is a great time saver. First, The Ski Shop needs you to come down to the store and get fit. We'll enter your information and preferences into our computer and save it for future rentals. Once we have your "vitals" in our computer, you can call ahead and reserve the equipment. All we require is pre-payment and at least 24 hours notice. You can call days, weeks, or months ahead of time and place your reservation (for as many days as you would like). However, we do need at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel. This is great for peak times when equipment is scarce, junior "bombers" and "blazers" who require weekly rentals, or for folks that just want to save time! Reservations will be ready on the day of pick-up after 2pm. As with all of our rentals, the equipment is due back on the due date before 1pm. Remember, The Ski Shop needs to have your personal information (vitals) in our computer system to process the reservation. We also strongly recommend that all previous rental customers visit the store and update their "vitals" before renting again (for the new season). All reservations fall under our basic rental policy guidlines which are listed at the bottom of this page. Most importantly, double check all of the equipment you pick up to make sure you have everything you reserved and it all still fits!
